These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Spotted mobile application ("App") operated by Spotted ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Spotted. By using the App you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to terminate accounts if we discover a user is underage.
Spotted is a proximity-based connection app. It detects other users within approximately 500 meters of your real-time location and allows you to anonymously signal interest. Your identity and exact location are never revealed to other users.
You authenticate using your phone number via a one-time SMS code. Your phone number is verified by our authentication provider (Clerk) and is not stored by Spotted. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for all activity that occurs through your account.

Spotted requires access to your device's location to function. Your location is used solely to match you with nearby users in real time. We do not sell, rent, or share your location data with third parties for advertising purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Spotted is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, that it will be error-free, or that you will match with other users. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user you encounter through the App.
Your safety is your responsibility when meeting people in person. Use common sense: meet in public places, tell a friend where you're going, and trust your instincts. Spotted is not liable for any harm arising from in-person meetings between users.
All content, design, and technology in the App belongs to Spotted. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the email below.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spotted shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
